Its my great pleasure to feature Bliss Botanicals this month. I have known Bliss’s founder Rebecca Amesbury, for a few years now. Based in southwest England and a busy single mom of two growing boys, Becky’s love for green living has lead her to start Bliss Botanicals. If that wasn’t enough, she is also studying for her qualifications in Holistic Herbalism, Aromatherapy and Reiki. Where she finds time to make her gorgeously scented wax melts, candles and other goodies I don’t know!
I bought the vanilla rose soy wax melts which are sitting next to me now in their little muslin bag, scenting the room ever so gently. And I haven’t put one on the wax burner yet.
All Becky’s products are handmade in small batches using natural and organic ingredients with no animal products. The wax melts and candles are all soy-based and her soaps are cold processed using olive oil, coconut oil and shea butter. Becky also has a range of housewares that are the sweetest things I’ve seen in a long while.
That little container of lip balm is not currently available for sale, but I’m giving you a sneak peek at it. I have tried it and its really lovely; not heavy or greasy like some lip balms can be. I love geranium essential oil, not just for it’s scent but also for its skin caring properties, so I can see it working well as an all purpose balm too. Becky tells me she is working on the recipe for this, so hopefully it will be for sale on the site soon.
Pop on over to Bliss Botanicals and treat yourself or someone you love!
