Review – No 7 Spring 2016 Collection

While Spring is still some weeks away, I have been looking at the offerings for 2016 from the various cosmetic brands. No7 has chosen a low key, gold toned colour palette this year.

For me, the stand out items in it are these three;

No7 Glistening Coral Blush palette – a two colour palette that contains a  matte pink toned coral with a lightly shimmering pale gold. Swirl the two together to brighten and define cheeks. The gold compact comes with a generous size mirror and is £12.50

No7 Shade & Define Golden Copper eye pencil – I tend to think of copper for Winter, but this shimmering gold pencil has a touch of copper that keeps it from looking brassy. I use it as a liner and found it has great staying power. This looks great with black mascara, and I think it will look even better with a dark brown one too. £8.00

No7 Skin Illuminator – this light, multi-purpose cream is really pretty. It looks good on its own over moisturiser or blended with foundation or BB/CC cream for added glow without looking like you got fairy dusted. No7 says it can also be used as a primer, but I haven’t tried it that way as yet. The old skin illuminators came in rather heavily pigmented pink and peach with a brush on the end of the tube that I used to find a bit messy. This new Nude illuminator should suit almost any skin tone and the brush has been removed. 30 ml is £12.50
